1. Service Description

Comply North ("we," "us," or "our") provides an automated policy generation service that creates customized compliance documentation for Money Service Businesses (MSBs) operating in Canada. Our service generates five (5) professionally written policy documents based on information you provide about your business.

The policies generated include: AML/ATF Compliance Policy, Client Onboarding Policy, Transaction Monitoring Policy, Country Risk Assessment, and Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA).

2. User Responsibilities

By using our service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your business
• Review all generated policies thoroughly before implementation
• Customize and adapt policies as needed for your specific operations
• Seek professional legal or compliance advice as necessary
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Our policies are templates designed to meet general FINTRAC requirements. You are responsible for ensuring they are appropriate for your specific business circumstances.

3. Payment Terms

Our service is offered for a one-time fee of $499 CAD. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Upon successful payment, you will receive immediate access to download your generated policies.

Refund Policy: Due to the immediate delivery of digital products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once you have accessed and downloaded your policy documents.

4. Intellectual Property

The generated policy documents become your property upon purchase. You may modify, distribute, and use them within your organization as needed. However, the underlying templates, software, and website content remain the exclusive property of Comply North.

You may not resell, redistribute, or repurpose our templates or service for commercial gain without explicit written permission.

5. Limitation of Liability

Our policy generator provides template documents designed to assist with FINTRAC compliance. However:

• We do not guarantee that these policies will meet all regulatory requirements for your specific business
• We are not providing legal, accounting, or professional compliance advice
• We are not responsible for how you implement or modify these policies
• We are not liable for any regulatory penalties, fines, or damages resulting from your use of these documents

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service ($499 CAD).

6. No Warranties

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
